PTA Event Descriptions









The PTA hosts a wide variety of events and activities throughout the school year.  Whether you attend, volunteer, or both, there truly is something for everyone to enjoy!

   

Family-Oriented Events/Activities

Fall Festival – The 5th Annual Fall Festival is a fun way to kick-start the Autumn season for the whole family.  Occurring on school grounds, there will be a pumpkin patch, a market of local vendor shops, and a variety of entertainment, crafts and seasonal food for children and adults alike.  For further information or to volunteer, please contact fall-festival@sjspta.com


Breakfast with Santa – A beautiful family tradition!  Beyond a delicious hot breakfast (complete with hot cocoa for all), the event offers a Toys for Tots toy drive, Christmas caroling, ornament making, a North Pole mailbox and of course a chance to meet and take a picture with Santa Claus himself!  For further information or to volunteer, please contact santa-breakfast@sjspta.com

SJS 5K & Fun Run


Mother/Son Outing - Friday Night Lights, An evening for moms and their sons open to the boys in all grades, it is complete with food, drinks, good friends.  DJ, dancing and games!  For further information or to volunteer, please contact mother-son@sjspta.com

Father/Daughter Dance - A magical night for all of the girls of St. Joseph’s School!  The girls and their guests enjoy dinner, dancing, and other entertainment.  For further information or to volunteer, please contact dance@sjspta.com 

 
Student Only Events

Children’s Christmas Boutique  - A great way to teach our children that Christmas is about the joy of giving!  The auditorium becomes a holiday shoppe for students K-8.  Under the guidance of our parent volunteers, students can shop for affordably-priced gifts for their family and friends.  For further information or to volunteer, please contact boutique@sjspta.com


St. Patrick’s Day Carnival
– Always a fun and exciting event the entire student body looks forward to!  The gymnasium is transformed into a carnival atmosphere filled with games for children of all ages and a children’s auction.  A bake sale is held during lunch.  For further information or to volunteer, please contact  st-pats-carnival@sjspta.com

 
Adult Only Events

Queen of Hearts – One of the oldest St. Joseph School traditions!  A luncheon held at the beginning of February open to the families of St. Joseph School and the entire St. Joseph Parish.  Besides a lovely lunch, guests enjoy a grand sweepstakes and auction featuring gift baskets created by each St. Joseph School class.  For further information or to volunteer, please contact queen-hearts@sjspta.com 


Goods & Services Auction - a lively evening for adults within and outside the school community. The evening festivities include a buffet dinner & cocktails, live auction, extensive silent auction including unique items created by each class, and numerous raffle baskets.  For further information or to volunteer, please contact auction@sjspta.com

Golf Outing and Honoree Dinner - A wonderful celebration of the St. Joseph School community!  The day long event offers a round of golf on a championship golf course.  In the evening, the event hosts an honoree dinner, complete with a cocktail hour, full dinner and awards ceremony.  For further information or to volunteer, please contact golf@sjspta.com

Father’s Association Events – The SJS Father’s Association hosts multiple events throughout the year.  Each evening is a great way for Fathers of SJS students to get together in a relaxed setting and watch a sporting event.  For further information or to volunteer, please contact fathers-association@sjspta.com
